The Hikvision DS-C66S-04SDI/4K is a 4-channel 12G-SDI input board for the C66S video wall controller range. The board takes four 12G-SDI inputs with a maximum input resolution of 4K. It supports ST-2082 (12G), ST-2081 (6G), ST-424 (3G) and ST-292 (HD) video input, and 3G-Level A and Level B in DS mode. HDR10 is compliant with SMPTE ST 2084 and SMPTE ST 2086, and HLG is also supported. Four in-band audio inputs run in dual-channel format. Each SDI input has a loop-through output, so one source can also feed another device.
Fit the board in a C66S chassis with the other input and output boards. The DS-C66S-S12 12-slot chassis takes up to six input boards, and the 6-slot DS-C66S-S6 supports mixed installation. The chassis is managed over Ethernet with SDK, RTSP and ONVIF protocols. Compared with the DS-C66S-04HI, this board handles 4K and HDR signals over 12G-SDI, where the HDMI board is limited to 1080P over HDMI 1.4.

Does the DS-C66S-04SDI/4K accept 4K signals?
Yes. The maximum input resolution is 4K, using 12G-SDI under ST-2082. The board also accepts 6G (ST-2081), 3G (ST-424) and HD (ST-292) video, so older SDI sources can be connected as well.
Does it support HDR content?
Yes. The board is HDR10 compliant under SMPTE ST 2084 and SMPTE ST 2086, and it also supports HLG. These are the HDR standards the manufacturer lists, so HDR sources can be routed through its four SDI inputs.
Can a source be passed on to another device?
