Sony Full HD PTZ Conference Camera – BRC-H800
The Sony BRC-H800 is a Full HD PTZ conference camera for meeting rooms and lecture halls. It pairs a 1.0-type sensor with a 12x optical zoom and 2x clear image zoom. Two 3G-SDI outputs and HDMI connect to switchers and recorders, and PoE+ or DC power simplifies installation. Procure.ae supplies the Sony BRC-H800 across the UAE.
The BRC-H800 has a 1.0-type back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with approximately 14.2 megapixels effective and a 12x optical zoom, with a focal length of 9.3 to 111.6 mm. Clear image zoom extends reach to 2x at 1920 x 1080. Pan is ±170 degrees and tilt runs from +90 to -30 degrees, with pan and tilt speeds of 0.3 to 60 degrees per second in normal speed mode. The camera stores 100 preset positions and 16 PTZ trace memories, and it offers colour matrix, gamma and knee adjustments for picture tuning.
The BRC-H800 suits rooms where a single HD camera must feed SDI equipment and be controlled over the network. It accepts VISCA RS-422 and VISCA over IP for control systems. Day/Night and Visibility Enhancer settings are included, and camera tracking data output is available with firmware V2.10 or later. It runs on DC 10.8 to 13.2 V or PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) and mounts to a ceiling with the supplied brackets.

Questions
Can’t find your answer? Ask on WhatsApp
Does the Sony BRC-H800 output 4K?
No. The BRC-H800 supports HD output only, through two 3G-SDI outputs and HDMI at up to 1920 x 1080. For 4K output, the BRC-AM7 or BRC-X400 in this range is the better fit.
Can the BRC-H800 be controlled over IP?
Yes. The camera supports VISCA over IP through its RJ-45 port, as well as VISCA RS-422 for serial control. Its 100 preset positions can be recalled from a compatible control system.
How far can the BRC-H800 zoom for framing?
Its 12x optical zoom, with a focal length of 9.3 to 111.6 mm, covers wide room shots and tighter framing of a speaker. The minimum object distance is 80 mm at the wide end and 1000 mm at the tele end.
Does the BRC-H800 support PoE?
Yes. It accepts PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at compliant) with a maximum draw of 23.0 W. On DC power at 12 V, its maximum draw is 19.0 W, and the DC connector is IEC60130-10 type.
How is the BRC-H800 mounted?
It mounts to a ceiling using the supplied ceiling brackets, a wire rope and M3 and M4 screws. The package includes an HDMI cable fixing plate to secure the cable.
