Sony 4K60P IP POV Remote Camera with Wide-Angle Lens – SRG-XP1
The Sony SRG-XP1 is a 4K60P IP POV remote camera with a fixed wide-angle lens and a horizontal view of about 102 degrees. It suits meeting rooms where a wide field matters more than zoom, and it supports PoE, HDMI and USB 3.0 output. Procure.ae supplies Sony remote cameras in the UAE and can confirm current availability of the SRG-XP1.
The SRG-XP1 has a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with about 8.40 megapixels and outputs 4K at 59.94p and 50p, plus HD modes. Its 4.57 mm lens at F1.7 has a horizontal viewing angle of about 102 degrees and a 300 mm minimum object distance. Minimum illumination is 0.5 lux at 4K output, 50 IRE, 1/30 second. Digital zoom reaches 2x, and the camera stores 256 presets controlled over VISCA or CGI. It includes a tally lamp, H.264 and H.265 IP compression, and a two-channel audio input.
The SRG-XP1 suits rooms where a wide field matters more than optical zoom. It takes DC 12 V from the supplied AC adapter or PoE (IEEE 802.3af), and it can be ceiling mounted with the supplied wire rope and screws. Output is HDMI or USB 3.0, and VISCA over IP or CGI handles control. Compared with the SRG-XB25, which offers 25x optical zoom and a 68-degree view, the SRG-XP1 trades zoom for a wider field.

Questions
Can’t find your answer? Ask on WhatsApp
Does the SRG-XP1 have optical zoom?
No. The manufacturer lists optical zoom as not applicable, because the SRG-XP1 uses a fixed 4.57 mm lens. Digital zoom reaches up to 2x, so framing relies on the wide field of view.
What is the SRG-XP1 field of view?
The SRG-XP1 has a horizontal viewing angle of about 102 degrees, equivalent to a 21 mm focal length on a 35 mm camera. The minimum object distance is 300 mm at both wide and tele settings.
Can the SRG-XP1 be controlled over IP?
Yes. The SRG-XP1 supports VISCA over IP and CGI control, with 256 presets. NDI|HX is also supported, but it needs a licence that is sold separately, so budget for it if you plan to use NDI.
Can the SRG-XP1 be ceiling mounted and powered over Ethernet?
Yes to both. It is listed as ceiling mountable and takes PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or DC 12 V from the supplied AC adapter. It measures 72.4 × 51.2 × 121.7 mm and weighs about 0.41 kg.
