Sony 4K60P IP POV Remote Camera with Wide-Angle Lens – SRG-XP1

The Sony SRG-XP1 is a 4K60P IP POV remote camera with a fixed wide-angle lens and a horizontal view of about 102 degrees. It suits meeting rooms where a wide field matters more than zoom, and it supports PoE, HDMI and USB 3.0 output. Procure.ae supplies Sony remote cameras in the UAE and can confirm current availability of the SRG-XP1.

The SRG-XP1 has a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with about 8.40 megapixels and outputs 4K at 59.94p and 50p, plus HD modes. Its 4.57 mm lens at F1.7 has a horizontal viewing angle of about 102 degrees and a 300 mm minimum object distance. Minimum illumination is 0.5 lux at 4K output, 50 IRE, 1/30 second. Digital zoom reaches 2x, and the camera stores 256 presets controlled over VISCA or CGI. It includes a tally lamp, H.264 and H.265 IP compression, and a two-channel audio input.

The SRG-XP1 suits rooms where a wide field matters more than optical zoom. It takes DC 12 V from the supplied AC adapter or PoE (IEEE 802.3af), and it can be ceiling mounted with the supplied wire rope and screws. Output is HDMI or USB 3.0, and VISCA over IP or CGI handles control. Compared with the SRG-XB25, which offers 25x optical zoom and a 68-degree view, the SRG-XP1 trades zoom for a wider field.
