Sony 4K PTZ Conference Camera – BRC-AM7
The Sony BRC-AM7 is a 4K PTZ conference camera for meeting rooms, lecture halls and production setups that need SDI outputs. It offers a 20x optical zoom, a 1.0-type sensor, and auto framing for up to eight people. Procure.ae supplies the Sony BRC-AM7 across the UAE.
The BRC-AM7 has a 1.0-type Exmor RS CMOS sensor with approximately 14.0 megapixels of effective pixels and a 20x optical zoom, equal to 24 to 480 mm in 35 mm terms. It outputs 4K at up to 59.94p over SDI and HDMI, and it records XAVC video with 4-channel LPCM audio to CFexpress Type A or SD cards. Auto framing covers up to eight people. Pan runs from -175 to 175 degrees and tilt from -30 to 210 degrees, with pan and tilt speeds up to 180 degrees per second.
The BRC-AM7 suits rooms where one camera feeds a conferencing platform and production equipment at the same time. NDI|HX is pre-installed for IP video, and the camera can stream over SRT, RTMP and RTSP. Free-d tracking data is available for virtual sets. Setup runs in Chrome, Edge or Safari on Windows, macOS, iPadOS and Android. It takes DC 12 V or PoE++ power and mounts to a ceiling with the supplied brackets.

Does the Sony BRC-AM7 support 4K?
Yes. The BRC-AM7 outputs 3840 x 2160 at up to 59.94p over SDI and HDMI, and it records 4K XAVC to CFexpress Type A or SD cards. Internal recording is not available when the camera is powered through PoE++.
Can the BRC-AM7 frame people automatically?
Yes. Single-person auto framing is supported, along with multi-person framing for up to eight people, auto framing pause and AF sync. Face registration, lead room effect and tracking range are also available, and framing files can be loaded and saved.
Does the BRC-AM7 work with NDI and IP streaming?
Yes. NDI|HX is pre-installed, and the camera streams over SRT, RTMP, RTSP and RTP. UVC output is not supported, so a plain USB webcam connection is not possible; use NDI|HX or IP streaming instead.
How is the BRC-AM7 mounted?
It mounts to a ceiling with the supplied ceiling bracket, or to a tripod through its 1/4-20 UNC or 3/8-16 UNC screw holes. The package includes two ceiling brackets, a wire rope and M3 and M4 screws.
