The Panasonic ET-YFB100G is a DIGITAL LINK interface box for ceiling-mounted and other permanent AV installations. The ET-YFB100G has a DIGITAL LINK output that transmits uncompressed HD digital video, audio and control signals (Ethernet and RS-232C) over one CAT5e (STP) or higher cable for up to 100 m (328 ft). Its inputs include two HDMI, two RGB (D-sub 15-pin) computer inputs, a composite video input and an S-Video input, plus audio in and out. A separate audio output lets sound play when the display is switched off. Digital Cinema Reality converts interlaced video into progressive images.
The ET-YFB100G works with DIGITAL LINK-ready Panasonic displays and projectors, and its input can be selected with the remote control of a compatible Panasonic display. Because DIGITAL LINK is based on HDBaseT technology, it can also feed other manufacturers' HDBaseT equipment, such as Crestron DigitalMedia 8G+ and Extron XTP, where the manufacturer's compatibility list confirms support. Brackets support server rack (EIA) or countertop installation.
