NEC MultiSync X Series 84-inch Interactive Flat Panel – X841UHD SST

The NEC X841UHD SST is an 84-inch 4K UHD interactive flat panel with ShadowSense touch for up to 10 real touches. It offers 500 nits maximum brightness and a 1,400:1 typical contrast ratio, and the manufacturer positions it for mid-sized meeting rooms. The model is discontinued, so Procure.ae can confirm its current availability in the UAE.

ShadowSense touch works with a finger, a glove or a stylus of 4 mm or more, and reports up to 10 real touches with an accuracy of less than 2 mm. The 3840 x 2160 panel runs at 60 Hz, with 500 nits maximum brightness, a 1,400:1 typical contrast ratio and 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles. Integrated ambient light and temperature sensors trigger programmable actions, an optional human sensor covers a 4-5 m range, and integrated 10 W + 10 W speakers are built in.

The X841UHD SST suits mid-sized meeting rooms and CAD/CAM or large-data visualisation, as the manufacturer describes it. Native multi-touch works with Windows 7-11, Linux and Android, and a default mouse works with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS. It can be controlled over 100 Mbit LAN with SNMP, over RS-232C or with an infrared remote. An Intel OPS slot takes a digital signage player or slot-in PC, and VESA mounting is 400 x 400 mm with M8 fixings.
