The Hikvision DS-C80K-01HI is a half-width KVM input node for video wall and command center systems. It captures 1080p 60 Hz HDMI sources with YUV 4:4:4 processing and keyboard delay within 10 ms. The DS-C80K-01HI accepts one HDMI 1.4 input at up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, with custom resolutions from 1280 x 720 to 1920 x 1200. Video is encoded in H.265 by default or H.264, and audio passes through 3.5 mm jacks in dual-channel stereo at 24-bit, 48 kHz. A loop output passes the HDMI signal on to a second device. Images are sampled and processed in YUV 4:4:4 without image quality loss, and on-screen display text can be added to the video signal. Keyboard signal delay stays within 10 ms.
The node is half-width, so two nodes fit the width of one rack, and it mounts by rack, planar placement or an optional magnetic bracket. It runs on PoE under IEEE 802.3at, with an external 110 to 240 V AC supply for dual power, and draws up to 30 W. The KVM system supports Windows, Linux, Unix and Kylin hosts, including remote power on and off. The 4K version, DS-C80K-01HI/4K, adds HDMI 2.0 input at 4K 60 Hz in place of this 1080p HDMI 1.4 input.

Does the DS-C80K-01HI accept 4K input?
No. The DS-C80K-01HI accepts one HDMI 1.4 input up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. For 4K 60 Hz input, the DS-C80K-01HI/4K node uses HDMI 2.0 and accepts up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz.
Can it be used with a KVM output node?
