Hikvision Distributed HDMI Input Node – DS-C80N-01HI

The Hikvision DS-C80N-01HI is a half-width distributed HDMI input node for video wall and command center systems. It takes 1080p 60 Hz sources, including network cameras and NVRs, and supports dual device hot backup. It works with centralised video wall controllers, multi-functional video centers and decoders. The DS-C80N-01HI accepts one HDMI 1.4 input at up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, with custom resolutions from 1280 x 720 to 1920 x 1200. It can access network signal sources, including network cameras and NVRs. The node supports ultra high definition fusion and 16 channels of 4K signal input. Video is encoded in H.265 by default or H.264. Audio passes through 3.5 mm jacks in dual-channel stereo at 24-bit, 48 kHz, and an audio matrix switches audio and video by channel. A loop output passes the HDMI 1.4 signal on to a second device.

The distributed video wall controller consists of input and output nodes, so command center systems can be built in a flexible layout with centralised controllers, multi-functional video centers and decoders. Two half-width nodes fit the width of one rack, and each mounts by rack, planar placement or optional magnetic installation. It supports dual device hot backup, customised to the system, and draws up to 30 W from PoE under IEEE 802.3at or a 110 to 240 V AC supply. Each node supports up to 2 on-screen displays and input image clipping of up to 200 pixels per edge.
