Biamp Tesira Room Control Panel – TEC-1s

The Biamp Tesira TEC-1s is a surface-mount PoE remote control panel for Tesira and TesiraFORTÉ systems. It adjusts or starts any of 32 selectable system volumes and actions, with a high-contrast OLED display. Its molded rear chassis lets it attach to a surface. The TEC-1s uses capacitive touch with no protruding or moving parts, which simplifies cleaning. Its OLED display adjusts brightness to ambient light and dims automatically when not in use. Volumes can be individual or grouped system levels, including inputs, outputs and matrix crosspoints. Actions can include presets, source selection, mutes, ducking and combining, and the control functions are programmed in Tesira system design software.

Fit and integration: the TEC-1s is designed to mount to a surface, with a molded rear chassis that accommodates cabling and attaches the assembly to the surface. It uses standard RJ-45 or IDC connectors on CAT-5, CAT-6 or CAT-7 Ethernet cable. The TEC-1i is the flush-mount version that installs into a wall, so choose the TEC-1s when the panel will sit on a surface.
