Biamp Impera Uniform Room Control Pad – 8U

The Biamp Impera Uniform 8U is a compact control pad with eight configurable buttons and a 2.7-inch E Ink display. It is powered over PoE (IEEE 802.3at Class 1) and suits meeting rooms, classrooms and collaborative spaces. It has three GPIO ports and three RS-232/IR ports for room control. The Impera Uniform 8U has eight software-configurable buttons that give quick access to essential AV and environmental functions. Its 2.7-inch high-contrast E Ink display shows status indicators and labels, and the 7-color LED indicators add feedback at the buttons. Connectivity covers one bidirectional and two unidirectional RS-232 ports, plus three GPIO ports for relays, sensors and switches. The unit operates from 0 to 40 °C and draws less than 4 W at maximum.

Fit and integration: the Impera Uniform 8U suits modern meeting spaces, and a mounting bracket with screws and wall plugs is included for in-wall installation. It uses CAT5e or CAT6 cabling for PoE power and control. The Uniform 8U is a control pad, while the Impera Tango is a touch panel controller for up to five Apprimo touch panel interfaces.
