Biamp Impera Echo Plus Room Control Panel – 8USW

The Biamp Impera Echo Plus 8USW is an 8-button room control pad for classrooms and conference rooms. Its onboard controller removes the need for an external processor, and it controls up to two third-party devices over Ethernet. It adds RS-232/IR and GPIO ports for integration. The 8USW has eight software-configurable buttons for key AV functions. It runs its own controller, so no external processor is required. It manages up to two third-party devices over Ethernet, suited to displays, projectors and video switchers. Control ports include one bidirectional RS-232/IR port with feedback, one unidirectional RS-232/IR port and three GPIO ports. Email notifications report lamp and filter hours and warnings, and Project Designer software handles configuration.

Fit and integration: the 8USW suits classrooms, conference rooms and collaborative spaces. The Expansion Bus supports up to two additional devices, such as keypads and port expanders, and the Micro USB connection supports system configuration and maintenance.
