Barco CTRL Service Node for Large Deployments – SAS-500

It manages the whole system, including its cybersecurity, and handles collaboration and sharing between displays and operator workstations. The SAS-500 is the service node for Barco CTRL, delivering the core functionality of the networked visualization system. It can manage more devices than the SAS-050, which suits large-scale Barco CTRL deployments. It orchestrates the collaboration and visualization of information shared between displays and operator workstations, and it runs the Barco CTRL software. Its network has two 1Gb/s Ethernet ports, with redundant 600 W power supplies and RAID 1 SSD storage.

The SAS-500 manages the security features of the Barco CTRL platform and is a central component of the system's cybersecurity. It mounts in a 19-inch server rack in 1U. Its two 600 W power supplies and RAID 1 storage on 2 x 960 GB SSDs provide redundancy. Maximum power draw is 188.8 W, falling to 72.5 W at idle, with an operating range of 10 to 35 °C.
