Questions
Can’t find your answer? Ask on WhatsApp
Does the ViewBoard 8650-5 work with both Windows and Android?
Yes. Touch registers 40 points on Windows and 20 points on Android, and myViewBoard annotation software is available for both. A Windows PC can be fitted through the OPS slot, and simple LAN sharing links the panel with the slot-in device.
What room size is the 86-inch 8650-5 suited to?
The 86-inch panel suits medium and large classrooms and training rooms where content must be readable from the back of the room. The manufacturer's specifications do not state a recommended viewing distance, so Procure.ae can confirm the right screen size for a specific room on request.
Can the 8650-5 be wall mounted, and what VESA pattern does it use?
Yes. The panel uses an 800 x 600 mm VESA pattern and weighs 66.7 kg net, so the wall mount and structure must be rated for that load. Procure.ae can arrange delivery and installation across the UAE.
Can a laptop connect to the 8650-5 with one cable?
Yes. The USB-C port carries DisplayPort 1.2 video, USB 2.0 data, 100M Ethernet and up to 65 W of power delivery, so a compatible laptop can display, connect to the network and charge through one cable. Touch input uses the separate USB Type-B touch ports.
Does the 8650-5 support wireless presentation?
Yes. The manufacturer lists vCast, the myViewBoard Display App and AirSync for wireless presentation, so teachers and students can share content from their own devices without a cable. Wireless sharing works alongside the wired USB-C connection.
