The Raritan PX4 Outlet Metered and Switched series provides advanced power distribution for data centers. These rack PDUs feature billing-grade metering accuracy of ± 0.5% for kW, kVA, voltage, and current. This series delivers precise power management with an input rating of 7.4 kVA via an IEC 230V/32A 2P+PE inlet positioned at the bottom or angled. Each unit supports up to 36 outlets, configured as 18x C13 or 18x combined C13/C19, with a 16A breaker rating and 10kAIC interrupting capacity. Metering metrics include harmonic distortion, power factor, dip/swell detection, and neutral voltage monitoring. Remote monitoring is achieved via HTML, JSON-RPC, and Redfish API using SSH, Telnet, MODBUS/TCP, or SNMPv3 protocols.

The controller features a hot-swappable embedded processor with a minimum speed of 536MHz, 16MB SPI Flash, and 64MB DDR2 RAM. It supports cascade connections of up to 32 PDUs via Ethernet or 16 via USB, with up to 8 units linkable via Shared GUI. Environmental monitoring extends to temperature and humidity with support for 32 functions or 12 packages. Deployment options include TFTP, DHCP, SSH CLI, and USB flash, while data logging utilizes HTTP/S or MQTT.
