The Vertiv SmartCabinet 42U is a pre-configured data centre solution designed for high-density IT loads of up to 6.0 kVA. This 42U nominal space cabinet delivers up to 6.0 kW of cooling via an 8U 19-inch evaporator, supporting a nominal IT load of 6.0 kVA and a UPS capacity of 10 kVA. It features Miracel 19-inch construction with IP54 protection, front glass and rear steel doors, and a mobile plinth with levelling feet. The system includes two Intelligent Rack PDUs (230V 1ph. 16A) offering remote metering per outlet, ensuring precise power management for critical infrastructure.

Management is centralized through one IP address using the Vertiv Liebert IntelliSlot RDU120 card, enabling remote status monitoring of power and environmental conditions. Security includes out-of-band access, mass firmware updates for connected devices, and dry contact alarm management for smoke or fire detection via a point smoke detector. The 800mm width by 1200mm depth cabinet provides 740mm useful depth with 200mm front jumpering space, available in top EMEA or eco EMEA configurations.
