The multi-instrument Peavey Vypyr X2 1 x 12-inch 60-watt Modeling Guitar/Bass/Acoustic Combo Amp contains models of electric, acoustic, and bass amplifiers. By utilizing Peavey's groundbreaking Variable Instrument Input, this powerful combo amp changes the gain structure and input sensitivity based on what instrument you use, ensuring the best sound possible from electric, acoustic, and bass guitars. Ensuring you'll always find the perfect fit for every gig, there are 36 unique amp models onboard, including six acoustic and six bass amp models. And with Peavey's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface, there's no more guessing where your knobs are set when you switch presets — each one is surrounded by LEDs to indicate their setting.

The Vypyr X2 features 26 onboard effects with parameter controls, as well as universal delay and reverb. The Peavey Vypyr X2 also acts as a computer audio interface, with a built-in, studio-quality USB 3.0 output that is recognized by computers as an audio device. Just fire up your favorite recording software and start laying down tracks — it's that simple! Sweetening the pot even more is the X2's advanced instrument modeling, with 10 different models to instantly transform your electric guitar into an acoustic or bass with fantastic results.

Streamlined Bluetooth control

The introduction of the Vypyr X control system allows you to easily manage and control your Vypyr X-series amp. Store, set, and recall presets; or use the streaming function to supplement your playing with a backing track, add complementary parts, or just jam to some tunes. Peavey’s exclusive Vypyr app is compatible with iOS devices, allowing you to conveniently access the robust suite of Bluetooth controls all from one spot. Just press and hold the Bluetooth switch to quickly pair your device, with a blue LED indicator letting you know you’re all set. Volume can be managed from your phone or on the amp, balancing your input with the overall amp volume for the optimal blend.
