It may look a bit different from its siblings, but this one is still a legit PRS Guitar, and a really good one on that. The S2 Vela takes the cue from those historic single coil-equipped guitars from decades ago, but blends in innovative elements to meet the demands of the modern genre-defying musicians.
The S2 Vela has an offset mahogany body for unique looks and improved ergonomics. The Type D Single Coil pickup at the neck gives you those bell-like tones that are sought after by classic purists, and the DS-01 humbucker delivers chunk and bite. Engaging the DS-01's single coil mode will take you to twang country. Giving it that legit twang as well is the PRS-designed Plate-style Bridge with brass saddles.
