Panasonic 12G-SDI Terminal Board – TY-SB01QS
The Panasonic TY-SB01QS is a 12G-SDI terminal board that installs in the slot of a compatible Panasonic display. It adds four BNC SDI inputs and one active-through SDI output, and accepts 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI and HD-SDI signals up to 4096 x 2160 at 60p. Procure.ae, an authorised reseller, supplies it in the UAE.
The board has four BNC SDI inputs (0.8 Vp-p, 75 Ω) and one BNC SDI output that passes through the SDI 1 IN signal. 12G-SDI (SMPTE ST 2082-1 / 2082-10) and its embedded audio are supported on SDI 1 IN only, while SDI 2 to 4 IN are used for Quad Link 3G-SDI and Quad Link HD-SDI. 12G-SDI formats include 3840 and 4096 at 60p, 50p, 30p, 25p and 24p. Embedded audio is 48 kHz, 20/24-bit, with 16 channels on 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI and 8 channels on HD-SDI.
The board does not work by itself: it fits the slot of the corresponding Panasonic display (Intel SDM slot specification) and will not work in other products. Recommended cable is 75 Ω coaxial L-5.5CUHD for 12G and 5C-FB for 3G and HD. Maximum distance is 100 m in and 50 m out in 12G mode, and 100 m in and out in 3G and HD mode. Closed captioning and time code are not supported. Installation by a qualified technician or dealer is recommended.

Does the TY-SB01QS work on its own?
No. The TY-SB01QS does not work by itself. It installs in the slot of a compatible Panasonic display and will not work in other products. Some displays do not support its video and audio settings, so Procure.ae can check your display model before you order.
Which SDI formats and resolutions does the TY-SB01QS support?
It supports 12G-SDI at 3840 and 4096 resolutions up to 60p, 3G-SDI at 1080 and 2048 formats up to 60p, and HD-SDI at 1080/30p, 25p, 24p, 60i and 50i. 12G-SDI is accepted on SDI 1 IN only, and SDI 2 to 4 IN are for Quad Link.
