The NEC MultiSync V552-TM combines a 55-inch AMVA3 panel with edge LED backlighting, 450 cd/m² brightness, a 4,000:1 contrast ratio and a 6.5 ms grey-to-grey response. Infrared touch handles up to 6 touches from a finger, gloved hand or stylus, with accuracy under 2 mm and a 32767 x 32767 touch resolution. Fully tempered 4 mm glass with a double-sided anti-reflection coating gives 96% light transmission.
The display accepts HDMI 1.3, DisplayPort, DVI-D, D-sub 15-pin and BNC signals and passes video on through a DVI-D output. Touch uses a USB HID connection with native multi-touch on Windows 7 and 8, and single touch on Windows XP, Vista, Linux, Mac OS X and Android. An STv2 option slot is compatible with the Intel / NEC OPS standard for a slot-in PC. NEC lists a DICOM simulation feature for medical applications. This model is discontinued.
