Questions
Can’t find your answer? Ask on WhatsApp
What touch technology does the NEC MultiSync P801 SST use?
It uses ShadowSense optical touch with real multi-touch for up to 10 touches. Input comes from a finger, gloves or a stylus of 4 mm or larger, with accuracy under 2 mm, 12-bit (4096 x 4096) touch resolution and a 6 to 8 ms response. The manufacturer states ambient light rejection up to full sunlight (about 100,000 lux).
What resolution and inputs does the P801 SST have?
The native resolution is 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, and the HDMI input also accepts 3840 x 2160 (25 Hz) and 4096 x 2160 (24 Hz) signals. Inputs are one D-sub 15 pin, one DVI-D, one DisplayPort and one HDMI. Control is by LAN, RS-232 and a 3.5 mm remote-control jack.
Which operating systems support P801 SST touch?
Native multi-touch is listed for Windows 7 to 11, Linux and Android. Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS use default mouse behaviour. The touch interface is USB 2.0 (full speed) HID, USB powered and plug and play, so connect the USB cable to the source computer along with the video cable.
Can the P801 SST take a built-in computer?
Yes. It has an OPS slot, and the manufacturer lists options such as an OPS digital signage player, an HDBaseT receiver, HD-SDI input and a slot-in PC (Intel Core i5 or i7). It also has an NEC interface extension slot. These are optional parts, so confirm them when requesting a quote.
How is the P801 SST mounted?
It has a 400 x 400 mm VESA (FDMI) pattern with four M8 holes. Without the stand it measures 1,878 x 1,097 x 104 mm and weighs 85 kg, so choose a wall mount or trolley rated for that weight. Procure.ae can arrange delivery and installation across the UAE.
