Jabra Reach BYOD Extension – 8700-101
The Jabra Reach 8700-101 is a single-cable BYOD extension for video conference rooms. It carries audio, video and content from any USB-C device to the room, supports displays up to 4K60 4:4:4 and works with all Jabra video bars. Procure.ae supplies the Jabra Reach across the UAE.
Jabra Reach uses one USB-C cable to extend bring-your-own-device (BYOD) access to every seat in a conference room. The Front of Room (RX) and Center of Room (TX) boxes are linked by an RJ45 HDBaseT connection. The manufacturer states it delivers lossless audio, video and content across any USB-C device, with content sharing over USB-C DP alt mode and HDCP media encryption. The Center of Room box has an optional USB-C power input rated 20 V / 100 W for laptop charging.
In BYOD rooms with PanaCast video bars, Jabra Reach extends BYOD to every seat at the table. In Android-based rooms configured for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android or Zoom Rooms, hosts can choose to present through the meeting or through the room's peripherals. Devices are managed through Jabra Plus, the Jabra web console over HTTPS or Jabra Direct, and the units mount on a wall, table, display or grommet.
