Does the InFocus INF8521 include a video conferencing camera?
Yes. The hardware guide describes attaching an HD video conferencing camera to the top edge of the back of the display with two thumb screws and plugging its USB cable into the slot below it. The camera tilts and pans manually by +/- 40 degrees.
How are the INF8521 speakers installed?
Attach four small rectangular brackets to the speakers, then screw the speakers to the bottom edge of the display, which has several screw hole positions. Connect the speaker AC In jack to the display's AC Out jack, and plug the speakers' audio cable into the Audio Out RCA R/L jack.
What audio sources can the INF8521 select?
The Audio menu lists HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, DisplayPort, PCSpeaker, Mondopad, Audio 1 and Audio 2. The Speaker setting chooses between Internal, where internal and external speakers both play, and External, where only external speakers play.
Does the INF8521 support picture-in-picture?
Yes. The remote has PiP On/Off, PiP Input, PiP Swap, PiP Position and PiP Audio buttons. Layouts include corner and side-by-side at 50% resized, 25% resized and 50% full screen, depending on source types. The PiP window only shows once a secondary source is selected.
What should I check if the INF8521 has no sound?
With the supplied speakers, check that they are connected and powered on. Otherwise confirm the Speaker setting is Internal, the volume is up and not muted, and the audio cable is installed for sources such as component. HDMI audio needs an HDMI 1.3 or higher source device.
