InFocus EZCastPro Wireless Display Software

The InFocus EZCastPro is a wireless display system that casts phone, tablet and laptop screens to a TV, monitor or projector. It pairs an EZCast Pro dongle with an app for iOS, Android, Windows and macOS, and supports Miracast, DLNA and AirPlay. EZCastPro creates its own Wi-Fi network, so phones, tablets and laptops can link to the dongle directly or join it through a router. Multi-user display runs through a Host Control System, and a content broadcasting function is included for commercial and educational use. The app casts photos with gesture zoom and a sketch tool, plays MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and H.264 video, and shows SRT, SMI, SSA and CDG subtitles. The macOS app 2.0 adds PDF and Office viewing and split-screen control.

It suits classrooms, meeting rooms and training spaces where several people share content on one display without cables. The dongle has a switch for HDMI or MHL output: HDMI output needs external 5 V, 1 A DC power, while MHL output draws 900 mA from the MHL port. The EZCast Pro app works only with EZCast Pro hardware, not with the standard EZCast product.
