Biamp Tesira Room Control Panel – TEC-1i

The Biamp Tesira TEC-1i is a PoE remote control panel for Tesira and TesiraFORTÉ systems. It adjusts or starts any of 32 selectable system volumes and actions and has a high-contrast OLED display. The TEC-1i is a capacitive touch controller with no protruding or moving parts, which simplifies cleaning. Its OLED display brightness adjusts to ambient light and dims automatically when not in use. Volumes can be individual or grouped system levels, including inputs, outputs and matrix crosspoints. Actions can include presets, source selection, mutes, ducking and combining, and the control functions are programmed in Tesira system design software.

Fit and integration: the TEC-1i suits in-wall installation. It mounts with the included retrofit plate, or installs in a Raco 254 box for North American installations (box not included). Standard RJ-45 or IDC wiring connects it, and the Ethernet run can be extended with standard PoE network equipment such as switches and media converters. The TEC-1s is the surface-mount version with a molded rear chassis.
