Does it have to be fixed across two studs?
The plate is designed to span two studs at 406mm centres, which is the recommended fixing for panels toward the top of the range. It also installs to solid concrete or block walls using appropriate anchors.
What is the screen levelling adjustment for?
It corrects a display that hangs slightly off horizontal, over a plus 3 to minus 3 degree range, without disturbing the wall plate. On a 75-inch panel a fraction of a degree is visible along the ceiling line, so this saves re-drilling.
How does it compare with the VS02SE-466?
The 446 covers 32 to 75 inches and accepts VESA patterns up to 400x400mm on a dual-stud plate; the 466 runs from 37 to 80 inches and takes VESA up to 600x400mm. Both carry 40 kg and share the same 67mm to 355mm arm travel, so the decision is driven by panel size and mounting pattern.
