The Snom M5 is a wideband DECT repeater that Procure.ae supplies in the UAE to extend the wireless reach of an existing Snom cordless telephony system.
The M5 extends DECT radio coverage from Snom's M300 and M700 single-cell bases and M900 multicell bases into areas the base alone cannot reach, supporting up to 5 simultaneous calls with wideband audio quality. Up to three repeaters can be daisy-chained in series from a single base to reach further into a building, and each unit needs a power outlet within radio range of the base or the nearest repeater in the chain.
It is used in offices, warehouses and multi-room facilities across the UAE where DECT coverage from a base station alone leaves dead spots, extending calls to stairwells, storage areas or annex buildings without adding another full base station. Note that the M5 does not bridge coverage between two separate multicell bases -- it only extends the reach of the base or chain it is paired with.
