Questions
Can’t find your answer? Ask on WhatsApp
Does the ActivPanel 10 need a built-in computer?
No. The panel has no built-in operating system, so it needs an external source. It has one OPS slot for an OPS-A or OPS-M module and is compatible with the Promethean Chromebox. A PC can also connect through its HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C inputs.
Is the AP10-A65 suitable for a classroom?
Yes. The 65-inch 4K display, 40 touch points, palm rejection and pen-and-touch differentiation suit teaching use. Two passive pens and a full-length pen tray are included, and ActivInspire Professional comes with one user licence.
What VESA mount does the 65-inch model use?
The 65-inch model uses a 600 x 400 mm VESA mount pattern, and the box includes four M8 VESA mount screws. The panel measures 1484 x 931 x 107 mm and weighs 37.8 kg without packaging, so confirm that the wall or stand can take that load.
What room size is the AP10-A65 for?
The manufacturer's specifications do not state a recommended room size. The 65-inch model is the smallest size in the ActivPanel 10 range, so it suits smaller classrooms and meeting rooms.
Which operating systems does it support?
The manufacturer lists compatibility with Windows 10 and 11, macOS Ventura 13 and Sonoma 14, Linux Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04 LTS, ChromeOS and Android 14. Windows gestures and edge swipes are supported.
