Panasonic DIGITAL LINK Terminal Board – TY-SB01DL

The Panasonic TY-SB01DL is a DIGITAL LINK terminal board that installs in the slot of compatible Panasonic displays and projectors. It adds an RJ45 DIGITAL LINK input/LAN port and a DIGITAL LINK output, supports HDCP 2.2 and carries signals up to 150 m in Long reach mode. The board has one DIGITAL LINK IN / LAN port and one DIGITAL LINK OUT port, both RJ45. The IN port carries network connection (100BASE-TX) and DIGITAL LINK signals, and both ports support Long reach mode and HDCP 2.2. Maximum transmission distance is 150 m in Long reach mode at 1080/60p (4:4:4, 24-bit) or lower, 100 m at 1080/60p (4:4:4, 36-bit) or lower, and 50 m at 4K/60p (4:2:0) or lower. Supported motion-picture signals range from 480/60p and 576/50p up to 4096 x 2160.

The board does not work by itself: it fits the slot of a compatible Panasonic display or projector (Intel SDM slot specification) and will not work in other products. A twisted pair cable transmitter such as the Panasonic Digital Interface Box ET-YFB100G or DIGITAL LINK Switcher ET-YFB200G sends video and audio over a LAN cable of shielded CAT5e or higher. The OUT port supports daisy chaining of up to 10 units, fewer with some cables and signals. Installation by a qualified technician or dealer is recommended.
