Panasonic 20x Optical Zoom Full HD PTZ Camera – AW-UE30
The Panasonic AW-UE30 is a Full HD PTZ camera with 20x optical zoom and a USB Type-C connection, for video conferencing, online classes and live streaming. It streams H.264, H.265 and MJPEG over IP, including SRT and RTMP, and can be powered over PoE+. Procure.ae supplies the AW-UE30 across the UAE.
The AW-UE30 has a 1/2.3-type MOS sensor with about 8.49 million effective pixels and a motorised 20x optical zoom lens (f=4.12 mm to 82.4 mm, 35 mm equivalent 25.0 mm to 500.0 mm). Its horizontal angle of view runs from 74.1° at wide to 4.0° at tele. Image resolutions go up to 1920 x 1080, and streaming is available in MJPEG, H.264 and H.265. An image stabilisation (O.I.S.) setting can be switched on in the menu, and the camera is rated NC25 or less for operating noise.
The USB Type-C port works as a USB video class and audio class device, so a computer with UVC 1.0 and UAC 1.0 support can use the camera as a webcam. Over IP, the camera supports SRT and RTMP streaming, and PoE+ provides single-cable power. Pan runs ±175° and tilt from -30° to 90°, with three speed modes: Normal 60°/s, Fast1 90°/s and Fast2 180°/s. It can be placed on a desk or suspended from a ceiling.

Questions
Can’t find your answer? Ask on WhatsApp
Can the AW-UE30 be used as a USB webcam?
Yes. The USB Type-C port is a USB 2.0 device that supports UVC 1.0 video and UAC 1.0 audio, so a computer sees the camera as a camera and audio device. The manufacturer lists it as compatible with UVC (USB Video Class) video.
Does the AW-UE30 support SRT?
Yes. It supports SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) over both IPv4 and IPv6, and RTMP and RTMPS for direct streaming to live broadcasting services. SRT is useful where stable transmission over an unstable network is needed.
What is the maximum resolution of the AW-UE30?
Full HD 1920 x 1080 is the maximum image resolution, with 1280 x 720, 640 x 360 and 320 x 180 also available. The i.Zoom function extends the zoom to 30x at Full HD. The manufacturer lists HDMI 1.4 for video output.
Can the AW-UE30 be ceiling-mounted?
Yes. It can be used as a stand-alone desktop unit or suspended from a ceiling. The weight is about 1.8 kg without the ceiling mounting bracket and about 2.05 kg with it, so check the mounting surface before installation.
