NEC MultiSync P Series 40-inch Interactive Flat Panel – P403 SST
The NEC MultiSync P403 SST (ShadowSense) is a 40-inch interactive flat panel with a Full HD 1920 x 1080 display and ShadowSense touch that tracks up to 10 simultaneous touches. The NEC MultiSync P403 SST uses a 40-inch S-PVA panel with edge LED backlighting, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, 550 cd/m² brightness (700 cd/m² maximum) and a 4,000:1 contrast ratio. ShadowSense touch accepts a finger, gloved hand or stylus of 4 mm or more, reports up to 10 touches with accuracy under 1.5 mm and keeps working in ambient light up to full sunlight (approximately 100,000 lux). A 4 mm toughened glass front with a single-sided anti-reflective coating protects the screen.
This large format touch display has one HDMI, one DisplayPort, one DVI-D and one D-sub 15-pin input, plus a DisplayPort output and LAN, RS-232C and infrared control. Touch connects to the host PC over USB 2.0 HID, plug and play, with native multi-touch on Windows 7 to 11, Linux and Android. An OPS slot accepts a slot-in PC, and the display mounts on a 300 x 300 mm VESA (FDMI) pattern. NEC lists the P403 SST as a discontinued model.
