Nearity AM01 Omnidirectional Expansion Microphone – AM01

The Nearity AM01 is an external expansion microphone with omnidirectional MEMS pickup, an effective pickup distance of 3 m and a 5 m cable that connects through a 3.5 mm TRRS jack. It extends the pickup range of compatible Nearity products in meeting rooms. Procure.ae supplies the AM01 in the UAE.

The Nearity AM01 is a high-sensitivity MEMS microphone with 360° omnidirectional pickup, a sensitivity of -38 dBV/Pa and a signal-to-noise ratio of 72 dB (A-weighted). It samples audio at 48 kHz with 16-bit width. The 3.5 mm TRRS jack carries both audio and power, which reduces cabling and installation effort, and the 5 m cable lets the puck-shaped unit sit away from the host device.

The AM01 is a desktop unit measuring Ø80 x 23 mm and weighing 130 g, supplied in Starry Gray. It is plug and play and is designed to pair with Nearity products to extend their pickup range and improve audio quality. Check that the host device provides a TRRS expansion microphone connection before ordering, and Procure.ae can confirm compatibility for your Nearity equipment.
