MikroTik CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ is a low cost industrial grade router with Tilera 9 core CPU! Amazing power and performance for value - this is our full featured, low end CCR device, the Cloud Core Router (CCR1009). If you need many packets per second on a budget - Cloud Core Router with 9 cores is your best choice.
The device comes in a 1U rackmount case, has one SFP port, one SFP+ port, eight Gigabit ethernet ports, a serial console port, a USB port, and dual power supplies.
The CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ has its 2GB of DDR3 80MHz RAM soldered directly to the motherboard and cannot be expanded. 100Mbps SFP support - this is our first device that supports 100BASE-LX/100BASE-SX/100BASE-BX fiber modules, as well as standard 1.25G SFP modules.
Changes that are important to the ethernet router are that it has the no switch-chip which enables to fully feature independent ethernet ports directly connected to the CPU overcoming shared 1 gigabit limitation rate. The combo-port has two interface. An SFP cage and gigabit ethernet port which allows it to use any type of available connecion.
