Ingress protection is listed as IP56, and the manufacturer notes IP66 and IK10 as options. The unit runs on 100 to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, and is listed with CE, FCC, RoHS and ISO certifications. The manufacturer's specifications do not state the resolution, operating temperature range or weight.

The MWE86DC suits bus shelters, transit stops and outdoor advertising positions where a high-brightness, double-sided display is needed. The manufacturer lists an outdoor application environment, so it should be specified for outdoor sites only. Its 3,000 nits brightness is higher than the 300 to 700 nits listed for the indoor Marvel kiosks in this range. The manufacturer's specifications do not state the mounting method or physical dimensions.
