InFocus SimpleShare Wireless Presentation – INA-SIMS1, INA-SIMPS1, INA-SIMRC1, INA-SIMTM1
The InFocus SimpleShare wireless presentation system (INA-SIMS1, INA-SIMPS1, INA-SIMRC1, INA-SIMTM1) sends a laptop or tablet PC screen to a projector or display without a cable run. A transmitter plugs into the source device and a receiver into the display's HDMI input, using 5 GHz radio. Procure.ae supplies InFocus products in the UAE.
SimpleShare works as a transmitter and receiver pair covered by one user guide for four model codes. The transmitter plugs into an HDMI port on a laptop or tablet PC (an HDMI extension connector can be used if there is no suitable port), and the receiver plugs into the HDMI input of a projector, TV or other display. Pressing the transmit button on the transmitter starts and ends screen transfer. The radio specification is 5180–5220 MHz and 5745–5825 MHz, and the operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C.
Several transmitters can be paired to one receiver, but only one device displays at a time; the transmit button selects which one. Both units are powered through micro-USB: the receiver can use a USB port on the display, or an adapter if the display has no USB input or its USB power is rated under 600 mA. Status LEDs show booting, ready, streaming, low battery (20% remaining) and pairing. The manufacturer notes that part of the screen may not transfer if the aspect ratios differ.
