InFocus SimpleShare Interactive Transmitter – INA-SIMTTM1

The InFocus SimpleShare Interactive Transmitter (INA-SIMTTM1) is a transmitter for the SimpleShare wireless presentation system, with a touch USB dongle for the source device. It plugs into the HDMI output of a laptop, starts and ends screen transfer with one button and charges over micro-USB in about 2.5 hours. Procure.ae supplies InFocus products in the UAE.

The transmitter connects to the HDMI output port of the source device, and its transmit button starts and ends transmission, or switches device when several transmitters are used. A status LED shows the unit state: purple while booting, solid blue when ready to transmit, blinking blue while video is streaming, orange when 20% of the battery remains, and red for an HDMI pairing error or while charging. A touch USB dongle connects to a USB port on the source device.

The transmitter has a battery that charges from a micro-USB cable connected to an adapter or a USB port on the source device. From empty, a full charge takes about 2.5 hours with a 5V/2A adapter, and charging time varies with the charging current. The manufacturer notes that part of the screen may not transfer if the aspect ratios of source and display differ, and that maximum wireless range varies with the environment.
