InFocus Interactive Display – INF8511

The InFocus INF8511 is a discontinued interactive display with an embedded PC, three HDMI inputs, a DisplayPort input and picture-in-picture viewing. It supports a wireless keypad and mouse through a USB adapter, which suits meeting rooms and classrooms that run presentations directly on the display. The INF8511 hardware guide describes an on-screen display with Picture, Screen, Audio, PiP, Configuration and Advanced Option pages. The Audio menu selects HDMI 1 to 3, DisplayPort, PCSpeaker, Mondopad, Audio 1 or Audio 2, and the Speaker setting chooses between internal and external speakers. Picture-in-picture offers corner and side-by-side layouts at 50% resized, 25% resized and 50% full screen, with swap, position and audio selection from the remote.

The Home button returns the active source to the embedded PC, and the audio source list refers to Mondopad. A wireless keypad and mouse connect through a USB adapter in the display's USB port. Dimming offers 10, 30, 70 or 100, and the aspect ratio can be set to Wide or 4:3. The Advanced Option menu holds gamma, overscan, IR control, keypad control and DDC/CI settings, and an HDMI 1.3 or higher source is needed for HDMI audio.
