The VA panel has 600 nits typical brightness, 5,000:1 static contrast, a 5 ms response time and 178° viewing angles. Touch is up to 50-point, with response of 2 ms or less and ±0.5 mm precision. Built-in 2 × 20 W + 25 W loudspeakers, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 complete the all-in-one unit.
The panel suits large classrooms, boardrooms and collaboration spaces where a big shared display is needed. A built-in network switch chip removes the need for an external switch, and two 1000 Mbps LAN ports connect it to the network. It mounts on a 1000 x 400 mm VESA pattern with the included wall bracket, which differs from the 800 x 600 mm pattern on the 86-inch models. The manufacturer recommends video conferencing software on the Windows system.

Questions
Can’t find your answer? Ask on WhatsApp
What is the Hikvision DS-D5C98RB/A?
The DS-D5C98RB/A is a 98-inch 4K UHD interactive flat panel from Hikvision's WonderHub Ultra Series. It has a VA display at 3840 x 2160, 50-point multi-touch and Android 14 built in, with an optional OPS slot for Windows.
Does the DS-D5C98RB/A run Windows as well as Android?
Yes. Android 14 is built in, and Windows runs through the optional OPS module. The manufacturer recommends running video conferencing software on the Windows system, so choose the OPS module for rooms that rely on Windows applications.
Is a 98-inch panel suitable for a large classroom or boardroom?
Yes, for rooms that need a very large shared display. The 98-inch screen with 600 nits typical brightness and 178° viewing angles lets several people view the same content. Check the wall and room layout before choosing this size.
Does it support VESA wall mounting, and how heavy is it?
Yes. The panel has a 1000 x 400 mm VESA pattern with four M8 x 20 mm fixing points, and a wall mount bracket is included. The net weight is 94 kg, so the wall structure and mounting must be rated for that load.
Which ports does the DS-D5C98RB/A have?
It has three HDMI 2.0 inputs, one VGA input, one DisplayPort 1.2 input and an HDMI 2.0 output. It also has three TOUCH-USB 3.0 ports for touch control, four USB 3.0 ports, two Type-C ports and an RS232 control port.
