The M60-12U runs an embedded Linux operating system on a 64-bit quad-core processor. It accepts digital and network video, supports up to 5,000 camera access and offers 8 RJ-45 network ports with 8 Gbps network interface bandwidth. Full configuration provides 80 channels of 1080P signal encoding and 60 channels of 32MP (25fps) decoding, or 960 channels of 1080P decoding. Video wall splicing covers up to 180 screens, with zoom, merge, roam and overlay support.

The M60-12U is a standard 19-inch, 12U rack-mounted ATCA industry box with pluggable card modules, and its function cards support hot-swap. It can be managed through a web interface, local GUI, video platform, network keyboard or iPad. Outputs are HDMI or BNC depending on the decoding card, and an optical cascade link card is optional. Compared with the 7U M60-7U, the 12U model supports up to 180 splicing screens instead of 90.
