The Dinstar DAG1000-2S2O is a multi-purpose hybrid analog VoIP gateway that combines 2 FXS ports and 2 FXO ports in a single platform. It is designed for businesses that need to connect analog phones, fax machines, and PSTN lines to an IP-based voice network without replacing all existing telephony infrastructure at once.
According to Dinstar, the DAG1000 series is aimed at small business, home office, remote office, and branch environments where cost-effective VoIP transition matters. The 2S2O model supports power failover, IP/SIP failover, SIP/IMS support, T.38 fax, flexible routing and dial plans, and interoperability with mainstream IP-PBX and softswitch platforms.
For reliability and administration, the gateway includes embedded OS stability, carrier-grade hardware design, main/secondary SIP server failover, TLS/SRTP security, intuitive web management, SNMP/TR-069, automated provisioning, and cloud-based management support.
