Biamp EasyConnect BYOM AV Switch and Port Expander – MPX 100

The Biamp EasyConnect MPX 100 is a BYOM AV switching device and port expander for UC meeting rooms. It switches a room display and USB peripherals between a dedicated UC platform and a BYOM laptop, with HDMI 2.0 video up to 4K and Gigabit Ethernet. Procure.ae supplies the EasyConnect MPX 100 across the UAE.

The MPX 100 mounts behind the display, and its cables run to the table. It provides USB and HDMI connectivity that needs no drivers, and it supports Windows and macOS laptops. The unit adds USB ports for cameras, microphones or touchscreens. HDMI 2.0 supports displays up to 4K resolution. It runs from a 24 V, 3.75 A power supply with a lock connector and draws less than 150 W from 100–240 V AC.

The MPX 100 adds BYOM calls to UC rooms and works with Biamp Parlé bars, whose USB-C port receives power and updates from the MPX 100. It passes through to other Biamp AV solutions and allows firmware updates on connected Biamp devices. Administrators can monitor and manage the MPX 100 and room peripherals through SageVue or a web-based console. The unit is TAA compliant.
