The RM8605 has an 86-inch IPS panel at 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) resolution, 450 nits typical brightness and a 1,200:1 typical contrast ratio, with a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1. Its high-precision infrared touch supports up to 50 touch points with a response time under 5 ms. The 10-bit panel covers a 72% NTSC colour gamut. An 8-microphone array picks up voices up to 12 m away, and two 25 W speakers provide audio.
The RM8605 runs Android 15.0 (EDLA) on an Arm Cortex-A78 and A55 processor, with one OPS slot for a slot-in PC. DMS device management, AMS account management and X-Sign Broadcast are included. Compared with the RM8603, it adds a micro SD reader and a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio against 30,000:1.
