The Barco UniSee 500+ is a 55-inch bezel-less LCD video wall display for control rooms and other 24/7 environments, and the successor to the UniSee 500. The UniSee 500+ uses IPS panel technology with a direct LED backlight, 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 1,200:1 typical contrast ratio. Smart local dimming is enabled, which the manufacturer says gives sharper images and a more uniform display across the wall. Response time is under 8 ms, typically 6 ms. The backlight is rated at 67,500 hours typical, and up to 100,000 hours in Long Lifetime mode. Sense X provides automatic, continuous color and brightness calibration.
