The CX-30 enables wireless conferencing in medium-sized meeting spaces. It outputs 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30 Hz through HDMI 1.4b, and through USB-C DisplayPort 1.2 on the Gen2 model. Participants start a meeting from a laptop within seconds, using a ClickShare Button or the ClickShare App on desktop or mobile. The unit connects over 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a 1 Gbit Ethernet LAN connection.

The CX-30 automatically connects to room devices such as cameras, mics, speakers, sound bars and displays, according to the manufacturer. The manufacturer lists touch screen support and interactivity, and local view, which the smaller CX-20 does not list. The unit measures 135 x 135 x 34 mm, weighs 900 g and has a Kensington lock. It suits rooms that need touch interaction on the display; the CX-20 is the small-room model.
