Sennheiser SpeechLine DW Multi-Channel Receiver – SL MCR 2 DW-4

The Sennheiser SL MCR 2 DW-4 is a SpeechLine DW multi-channel wireless receiver for conferencing microphone systems. It carries audio over Dante and runs on PoE from a single network cable, with a 1880–1900 MHz frequency band and AES 256 encryption. It mounts on a wall, ceiling or mic stand. Procure.ae supplies it in the UAE.

The receiver takes audio from SpeechLine mobile transmitters and outputs it as one analog mix or as Dante digital audio on two RJ-45 ports. Automatic gain control, automatic frequency management and automatic interference management reduce manual setup, and the pairing function links each transmitter to the receiver. The frequency response runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a dynamic range above 120 dB(A) and typical THD of 0.1%. Encryption is AES 256, and the manufacturer states a warranty of 2 years.

The SL MCR 2 DW-4 suits conference rooms and installations that run Dante or a media control system. The manufacturer says network integration allows remote control and monitoring through systems such as AMX, Crestron and Q-SYS Control, and that the settings of the mobile transmitters can be made in the Sennheiser Control Cockpit. Its integrated antennas remove the need for a separate antenna installation. The unit measures 180 x 180 x 45 mm including the wall mount, weighs 560 g and operates from -10 °C to +45 °C.
