Promethean ActivPanel LX 86-inch Interactive Flat Panel – APLX-86

The Promethean ActivPanel LX 86-inch (APLX-86) is a 4K UHD interactive flat panel with no built-in operating system, so you choose Windows, Android or Chrome OS. It has 20-point touch, 350 nits brightness and an 800 x 600 mm VESA pattern. Procure.ae, an authorised reseller, supplies it in the UAE with delivery and installation.

The APLX-86 has an 86-inch 16:9 panel with 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) resolution at 60 Hz, rated at 350 nits brightness and a 5,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Its 10-bit panel shows 1.07 billion colours with an 8 ms LCD response time. Touch uses 20 continuous touch points at 1 mm accuracy, with palm rejection and palm erase. The glass is 8H pencil hardness, heat-tempered with an anti-glare finish. Two pens and an integrated full-length pen tray are included.

The panel has no built-in OS. You choose Windows, Android (EDLA-certified) or Chrome OS, and the manufacturer says the panel is designed to look and feel familiar on whichever you use. It measures 1962 x 1171 x 110 mm and weighs 63.4 kg, with an 800 x 600 mm VESA pattern, so plan the mount and lifting for that size. Ports include three HDMI 2.0 inputs, VGA, USB-C 2.0 with 15 W Power Delivery and USB-B touch connections. Promethean lists OPS-A, OPS-M and Chromebox options, with availability varying by region.
