It extends the pickup range of compatible Nearity products in meeting rooms. Procure.ae supplies the AM01 in the UAE.

The Nearity AM01 is a high-sensitivity MEMS microphone with 360° omnidirectional pickup, a sensitivity of -38 dBV/Pa and a signal-to-noise ratio of 72 dB (A-weighted). It samples audio at 48 kHz with 16-bit width. The 3.5 mm TRRS jack carries both audio and power, which reduces cabling and installation effort, and the 5 m cable lets the puck-shaped unit sit away from the host device.

The AM01 is a desktop unit measuring Ø80 x 23 mm and weighing 130 g, supplied in Starry Gray. It is plug and play and is designed to pair with Nearity products to extend their pickup range and improve audio quality. Check that the host device provides a TRRS expansion microphone connection before ordering, and Procure.ae can confirm compatibility for your Nearity equipment.

Key Features

Omnidirectional pickup - The microphone captures sound over 360° within an effective 3 m distance.

MEMS microphone - A high-sensitivity MEMS element delivers -38 dBV/Pa sensitivity and 72 dB signal-to-noise ratio.

TRRS powered - The 3.5 mm TRRS connection supplies power and audio over a single cable.

Plug and play - A single 3.5 mm TRRS plug connects the microphone, with no separate power supply listed.

Long cable - The 5 m cable allows flexible placement on a meeting table.

Compact desktop design - The unit measures Ø80 x 23 mm and weighs 130 g.

Ideal for: meeting room tables, huddle rooms, small conference rooms and extended pickup coverage for Nearity conferencing devices, across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider GCC.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the pickup range of the Nearity AM01?

The AM01 has an effective pickup distance of 3 meters with omnidirectional 360° coverage.
