The 49VM5E-A has a 49-inch panel with 1920 x 1080 (FHD) resolution, 500 nits typical brightness and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The 0.9 mm even bezel gives a 1.8 mm gap where two panels meet bezel to bezel. The unit is rated for 0 to 40 °C and 10% to 80% humidity, and its smart energy saving mode draws 65 W. The display head measures 1075.6 x 605.8 x 86.2 mm and weighs 17.5 kg.

The model suits video walls and digital signage installations, and it is OPS piggyback compatible. Content is managed with SuperSign CMS, and displays are monitored with SuperSign Control and Control+. Inputs include two HDMI ports, DisplayPort, DVI-D and audio, with DisplayPort and audio outputs.
