IAdea XMP Series 4K Signage Media Player – XMP-7300

The IAdea XMP-7300 is a 4K signage and kiosk media player for HTML5 content and H.265/HEVC video up to 3840 x 2160. It has Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, HDMI 2.0 output, 16 GB eMMC storage and remote commissioning for managed deployments. The XMP-7300 decodes H.265/HEVC video up to 4K and H.264/AVC up to 1080p, with MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MPEG-1 and VC-1 up to 1080p, and plays JPEG and PNG images up to 1920 x 1080 and MP3 audio up to 320 Kbps. Its WebKit-based browser engine supports HTML5, JavaScript and CSS, plus W3C Widgets for calendar, clock, news and web page integration. The player has 16 GB eMMC storage, which a micro SD card can replace, and StrongCache keeps content playing when the network is unavailable.

The XMP-7300 suits kiosks, retail counters and interactive displays that need a player managed remotely. Remote commissioning, AlwaysOn and AppLock help prevent unauthorised access to the device. Content management runs through the SignApps Express utility or a third-party solution with an optional licence. An optional 3G or 4G module connects via USB where a wired or Wi-Fi link is not available.
