The DS-QAPMRR-N uses a dual-capsule design with five adjustable polar patterns: 360° omni-directional, cardioid (default), hyper-cardioid, super-cardioid and figure-8. Frequency response runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with -35 dB sensitivity, a 67 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 96 dB dynamic range. A Ø20 mm gold-plated large diaphragm and a built-in pop filter sponge reduce noise, while the 120 dB acoustic overload point handles loud sources. The built-in DSP samples at 24-bit, 48 kHz.

The microphone connects over one RJ45 100 M Ethernet port and draws PoE power at 36 V to 57 V, up to 3.6 W.
